Why Anurak Counsel Exists
Anurak Counsel came into being because pension questions — straightforward in principle — often become difficult in practice. Contributions go missing from records. Claims are declined without adequate explanation. Individuals approaching retirement find that the entitlements they expected are not quite what they had assumed.
We were founded in Bangkok to serve people at these moments: not to rush them toward a decision, but to sit alongside them and help them understand their situation clearly. Our clients include Thai nationals, long-term foreign residents, and retirees managing pension matters that connect Thailand to other countries.
The name Anurak reflects a protective, caring orientation — and that is what we aim to bring to every matter we handle. We take the work seriously, explain things plainly, and never push a course of action that is not genuinely in the client's interest.

Pension matters in Thailand are governed by a framework that includes the Social Security Act, the Provident Fund Act, and various supplementary regulations. For individuals, this framework can be difficult to navigate without specialist knowledge — particularly when a dispute arises or when records do not accurately reflect years of contribution.
Anurak Counsel focuses its practice on this particular area of law. We assist clients in understanding their entitlements under both state and occupational pension schemes, in identifying errors or inconsistencies in contribution records, and in pursuing formal appeals where a claim has not been properly considered.
Our practice is based in Phaya Thai, Bangkok, and we serve clients across Thailand. We also assist foreign nationals whose pension matters have a connection to Thailand — for example, those who contributed to Thai social security during an employment period in Thailand, or those managing pension interests alongside residency in Bangkok.
We are a small practice by design. Smaller means more personal attention, a consistent point of contact, and a level of care that is difficult to maintain when case volumes are high. Each matter is handled by a qualified member of our team, and we do not delegate substantive work to unqualified staff.
