Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

If you have a question not addressed here, please feel free to send us a message.

What does a pension review typically involve?
We examine the documents and records you are able to provide — contribution history, correspondence from pension bodies, and any formal assessments. From there we explain, in plain terms, what your current position appears to be and what choices may be open to you. The review is unhurried, and you are never expected to decide anything on the day.
Can you help if my pension claim has already been refused?
Yes. A refusal is not necessarily the end of the matter. Under our Dispute and Appeal Support service, we review the decision, identify the grounds on which it may be challenged, and assist you in preparing and submitting a formal appeal. We keep you informed at each stage so that you always know what is happening and why.
How long does the appeal process take?
Timelines vary considerably depending on which body is involved and the complexity of the situation. Some appeals are resolved within a few weeks; others take longer. We are honest about what to expect from the outset and will give you a realistic sense of the likely timeframe once we have reviewed your matter.
I am a foreign national living in Thailand — can you assist me?
We work with both Thai nationals and foreign residents on pension matters connected to Thailand. If your pension question involves a different jurisdiction, we will tell you clearly whether it falls within our scope and, if not, suggest where you might look for help.
What do I need to bring to a first consultation?
Whatever documents you have is a good starting point — pension statements, letters from a pension fund or employer, employment records, and any formal decisions you have received. If you are not sure whether something is relevant, bring it anyway; we can help you understand what matters and what does not.
Is the information I share kept confidential?
Yes. All matters discussed with us are treated with the utmost discretion. We do not share client information with third parties except where doing so is necessary to carry out work on your behalf and with your knowledge.
What are your fees and how do I pay?
Our fees are set out clearly on our Solutions page: ฿2,000 for a Pension Review and Guidance session, ฿6,500 for Dispute and Appeal Support, and ฿9,900 for Ongoing Pension Advisory. We discuss fees openly before any work begins, so there are no surprises. Payment is accepted by bank transfer or in person at our Bangkok office.
